We work with Ministry of Health, provincial partners and service providers at system level to help strengthen Ontario’s child and youth mental health and addictions sector. Our goal is simple: better care, better experiences and better outcomes for children, young people, and families. How? By bringing people across systems together province-wide.
Ontario’s child and youth mental health and addictions system is complex. It’s made up of many providers and organizations from different sectors, all delivering services to children and young people.
Working at the system level means looking at how all these parts work together. Our focus is on improving the connections, pathways, policies and resources that help the whole system deliver better care.
Partner with the provincial government on system level initiatives to help improve access and quality of care, identify provincial priorities and collaborate to address them.
Work with service providers to share knowledge through the creation of resources (like toolkits, evidence briefs, workshops, webinars and policy papers) to make evidence-informed improvements across the sector.
Develop and implement quality standards to inform the delivery of high-quality care province wide.
Collaborate across sectors like health, education and community services to create smoother integrated care pathways.
