Exciting news to share from our QI team! We are bringing back our free Lean Six Sigma White Belt training to all interested members of child and youth mental health and addictions agencies across Ontario.
This course, intended for those with no previous Lean Six Sigma training, offers a high-level overview of the theory and methodology of Lean Six Sigma. The training is designed to give participants hands on experience with some of the key tools and concepts applied within the context of child and youth mental health and addictions work. This application allows participants to carry the learning forward into their own internal improvement projects, thereby helping to enhance their overall organizational quality improvement culture.
At the end of the training, participants will be able to:
Describe the history, basic principles and methodologies of Lean Six Sigma.
Summarize the five-step Define-Measure-Analyze-Improve-Control improvement process (DMAIC).
Use common tools to identify improvement opportunities and make meaningful improvements in their work.
We are offering 3 separate, live virtual training opportunities over the next few months (consisting of 2 half days each):
Wednesday and Thursday, November 26-27, 2025 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Tuesday and Wednesday, January 20-21, 2026 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Wednesday and Thursday, March 4-5, 2026 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Please note:
