The goal of this literature review is to understand how Ontario’s child and youth mental health sector can interrupt systemic racism and build a more equitable, diverse and inclusive mental health care system.
The document highlights promising practices that a) address racism and improve equity, diversity and inclusion; b) support engagement with diverse children, young people and families; and c) improve mental health outcomes for these clients.
