The Live-in treatment quality standard provides a shared foundation for high-quality, person-centred live-in treatment for children and young people in Ontario. The standard includes 10 core principles that describe what high-quality live-in treatment looks like, from creating the right foundations to delivering and sustaining quality services.
Organizations can use the standard to reflect on their current practices, identify opportunities to strengthen treatment and support quality improvement. Implementation resources are also available to help organizations put the standard into practice.
